  Here's Ernie and Lynn (or should we say "Henry and Liza") singing that silly song in the park on a Monday evening in July for the Sterling Concert in the Park Series!  The song, "Hole in the Bucket" is on the "A Kinder, Gentler Time" CD.

The CD, "A Kinder, Gentler Time"...

was recorded at Upside-Sound Recording Studio in Ashburnham, MA. 

Song Number 5 on this CD features  "A Better Place."   Written and performed by Gene Martin, with Colin on the electric guitar, and Lynn joins in with a bit of background harmony.

The park in Sterling, Massachusetts, is a lovely setting for summer concerts.  Older folks set up chairs in the shade, couples spread out their blankets in the grass, and the children run and play!

Gifted Collaborators and Fellow Performers

 Ernie Spencer, Lynn Lambert, Gene Martin, Colin Letteney

 Gene Martin and Colin Letteney separately started learning to play guitar in 2000.  Gene pursued an acoustical, light-rock style, while Colin pursued rock and jazz.  They met a few years later and became best of friends. 

Colin's ability to play jazz made him an excellent lead guitarist, while Gene's vocal abilities made him the choice as the lead singer.  When they got together to jam, their differing abilities meshed well; Gene on Rhythm guitar and vocals, while Colin plays lead guitar.  

Together they've written several original songs as well as performing covers of other groups spanning a few different genres of music including easy listening, rock and blues.
